The switchable film with SPD (Suspended Particle Devices) technology represents a revolutionary innovation in the field of light management. This advanced technology enables the dynamic control of light transmission through the application of electrical voltage, offering excellent versatility in various fields.
The films filter out 99.9% of UV rays from outside. In addition, when combined with specific double-glazing configurations with selective outer glass, they can also reduce the heat of the interior environment. In the OFF state they are blue in colour while in the ON state they are transparent.

SPD film technology for shading control
Shading control film is characterised by microscopic particles suspended in a fluid layer within the material.
When tension is applied, the alignment of the particles determines the degree of transparency/colouration of the film, allowing precise control of light passing through the surface.
General features
Standard film widths: 1200mm, 1500mm.
Standard formats: Rectangular sheets obtained by laser cutting, according to required dimensions.
Cutting and customisation: Possibility of cutting curved shapes, pre-cutting the strip for the electrodes, applying the electrodes to positions requested by the customer from a range of standard combinations.
Power supply: The BLUECHROMIC SPD switchable film is powered at 110Vac for the LIGHT GRADE version and 220Vac for the DARK GRADE / 50-60Hz version via transformer. Possibility of using our central dimmer.
Colours: LIGHT GRADE, DARK GRADE.

THE SUPPLY PROGRAMME
The sheets are cut by a special computerised machine that receives
the shape drawing (Autocad software) directly via the Internet, a service
appreciated by architects and designers as well as glass technicians.

Every film supplied by Innoptec® undergoes prior electrical testing,
ensuring reliable performance every time Placed inside glazing by means of
the oven lay-up process, the spd smart film enables the colour of the glass to
be varied and, at the same time, the intensity of the sun's rays to be adjusted
by means of a simple electrical control.
